Terms of Use for Silsigan

These terms govern your use of the Silsigan app ("the App"). By using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

Silsigan provides real-time speech transcription and translation. Usage is metered in minutes. A free allotment may be included; additional minutes are sold as in-app purchases.

Purchases and minutes

• Minute packs are consumable digital goods. They add time to your account and are not a subscription.
• Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the platform. Their payment terms, taxes, and refund rules apply.
• Minutes are credited to the account on this device after the store confirms the purchase. They are not transferable between Apple and Google accounts.
• Restore Purchases re-syncs the store receipt with the App. Consumed minute packs cannot be restored a second time.
• Unused minutes have no cash value and expire only if we discontinue the service and give reasonable notice.

Acceptable use

You may use the App for lawful personal or professional translation. You may not:

• Attempt to bypass usage metering, reverse-engineer the service, or overload our servers
• Use the App to process content you do not have the right to record or share
• Use the App if you are under 13

Audio and translation

Microphone audio is sent to a third-party speech-to-text and translation provider only while you are recording, as described in our Privacy Policy. Translations are generated automatically and may contain errors. Do not rely on the App as the sole source for medical, legal, safety-critical, or similarly high-stakes communication.

Accounts

The App creates an anonymous device account (shown as a customer ID). Keep that ID if you contact support about a purchase.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy of transcription or translation, and fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for minute packs in the three months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
